I would like to have a direct bolt in if possible but would consider the adjustable bar too. Ive seen a few adjustable setups, but the cheapest setup I have seen so far comes from the circle track guys. Its pretty beefy too. Im not opposed to modifying the rear mount to fit the 900 bar either. that will cost me nothing but a day on my back with a grinder and welder. When I was doing this swap I did change out all the fasteners for the beefier, flanged units on the later cars. I need to make a trip to the u-pull it to source the caged nut plates and bolts that hold the lower arms to the frame. Ill modify the lower arms to accept the 99 shocks and then Im on to figuring out the upper spring mounts. I was looking into the weight jack setups used on the circle track cars. They make a front jack setup that will work with the 900 springs. But the rear spring diameters are kind of an odd size. I was just planning to get 4 sets of front jackers, and making a new bucket to fit the smaller springs. I have been reading the SaabRally stuff, great build photos! I think they do awesome stuff but some of it is a bit over the top for me. Dont know if I need to reinforce the thing to protect it while hurtling down dirt roads bouncing off trees and rocks. I hope I dont scratch mine when its done.
