Get yourself a piece of wood, or an assistant. When doing it alone, I wedge the board between the clutch pedal and the seat. Bleed the master first by cracking the line, remove the board, install the board, crack the line..etc....when you are satisfied the air is out of the master, repeat the procedure on the slave.
Another trick to try - push the pedal in with your foot and let it slip off the pedal, causing the pedal to slap upwards. Do this 10-20 times in between bleeding the slave...it allows some air to travel up the feed line into the reservoir, which is good.
