Kurt,
Sorry I did not get back to you sooner on this, but with regard to tires, the original size for the 99T was 175/70x15. While these are available (Universal Vintage Tire), I have used 195/60x15 on my 99T with great success, and I think that is the widest tire that will fit without rubbing or hitting on anything. I'm looking for a set right now and trying to decide between Brigestone Potenza RE960AS and Continental ContiProContact.
For shocks I've been happy with KYB Gas-a-just for the front, but they are pretty firm and not everybody likes them. For the rear I found a set of Koni adjustable for which are excellent, but they are not generally available unless you can find them on eBay.
Good luck,
Gary
