I recall that by 1979 or 80 (possibly as early as 1978 - there are some TSBs on the subject) Saab had settled on the hub-based wheel centering arrangement, whereby the alloy wheel is centered on the brake hub via a lip on the hub surface, and a machined area at the wheel mating surface.
Earlier wheels, particularly the EMS Soccerballs, were centered using a washer further out on the CV stub. At least for the Soccerballs, there are early ones, and late ones. Early ones (-78) can be used on later hubs (79- or 80-), but you have to machine out the hub centering space or they won't sit flat on the hub.
I think all Incas are good for any application, but it's been a while...
