You need everything between the ball joints, basically. Steering knuckle, hub, rotor, CV joint. 86 & 87 offered ventilated rotors on some models (turbos, notably), and that's a good upgrade (be sure to get the calipers as the yoke is different!).
Re-use the original driveshaft that came on the CAR (especially if you're changing a 99 to later 900 brakes - 900 driveshafts are very slightly longer...).
Of course, as it's all apart at this point, it is a good time to re-grease the tripod bearing/inner driver, re-grease the outer CV, replace the rubber boots on the inner & outer driveshaft joints, replace ball joints and the tie rod end.
Check/adjust the alignment, bleed the brakes, and enjoy a car that is now MUCH easier to change rotors on, and has a considerably lower unsprung weight.
I did all that on a 1980 99 some years back. Great improvement.
