Brently, I'm not sure how much the fuel lines changed with the years, but in the later ('77-'80) cars for sure the two plastic lines go from the filter (high pressure supply) and fuel distributor (low pressure return) all the way back to the tank. So, to take them out is a big project; they do go through the suspension box, then through the firewall, through the inside of the car, out at the back axle. So, you will need to pull out the left sill plate and at least lift up the carpet to get them out. I think they go under the driver's dead pedal, so you may need to pull that as well. I'm not sure about replacement parts - maybe one of the advertisers in Hemmings could make you new ones of the right length and diameter reusing your original banjo fittings.
