Gary,
Thank you for the follow up.
I haven't taken ownership of the car yet, but I did have the mechanic that has it now take care of a couple of things before it ships from CA to CT.
Based on what I have been able to find so far, it's a 1.85L with other 72 foundational components, which makes me think that one of the owners in its past outfitted it with 69 parts - either because something happened to the original interior and the 69 parts were all that was available or they liked the 69 look. Either way, it does make it an interesting mix.
I will check on the free-wheeling feature to see if the mechanic can find that out for me.
In the meanwhile, I want to have this be a somewhat daily driver at some point soon. My going in assumption is that I will need/want to change out the ball joints, springs, bushings and maybe the brakes. So, I will check with ConnTech first because they are closer, but if you can suggest parts that would be better than others, I would appreciate it.
As soon as I get it and have done the first round of updates, I will post pictures. I am going to wait until the spring to repaint it, but I want it mechanically good to drive before December.
Thank you again.
Michael
