I was wondering where you were able to find a new accumulator. I used a Volvo one, it just needed to have different fittings/ fuel line connections.
I don't know if this matters or not, but if the accumulator isn't original OE, and lines were connected accidentally reversing the inlet / outlet that could stop fuel from the pump transferring to the filter. Worth a shot -- disconnect the line from the fuel pump to the accumulator. See if it has positive flow.
The other thing is wondering what new fuel pump was installed. I've seen 16V fuel pumps installed in 8V cars, that doesn't work as the pressure is too low. But, it should still pump to the filter with the 16V fuel pump -- that pump just can't operate the mechanical nozzles to overcome the ball check valve inside the injector.
