It is here and fantastic, but....

First of all good morning, hope your weekend is off to a good start. Mine is as I have a shiny (OK, faded and somewhat dull red) new to me 1971 99E in my hands. I am already in love - so glad I took the leap of faith to buy it. That said, as expected of any long sleeping vintage car, there are some things that need to be looked after.
Despite having 165/80/15 tires the steering is heavier than expected and feels a bit too stiff. I do understand some of that is just inherent in the design but this is beyond that and likely just items that need attention. Tires are properly inflated. I'll get the alignment looked at since my hunch is that these cars are sensitive to that.
Any other ideas on deferred maintenance? Any u-joints that likely need greasing or other tips?
