By the way, this is the 99 that you saw 6.5 years ago that seemed to be a mutt of sorts in that it was a 1972 model, but had the drive train, dash and interior from a 68-69. I have done as much research as I can and can only surmise that it was a '72 model that had been in some sort of incident that took out the engine and interior - so maybe a flood where the water got into the engine, electrics and interior. The insurance must have been incredible in that the work that was done to rebuild it was top notch.
I can only think that it must have been when the car was still relatively new and getting parts from a peer was much more than pulling from a 3+ year donor.
Sven (the car's name) will be on the road again and he will be the beast that I think that he was always meant to be.
