Hey, the car and I did make it to PA from Gainesville after a 24 hr marathon 1000+ mile test drive. We (the 99 and I) went the long way, thru Charlotte, to avoid I95 thru Richmond and DC. I wish it had been daylight, though, when we drove through the mountains. It even looked pretty in the dark. No major trouble, the only roadside repairs included disconnecting the horn (the car wanted to let those trucks know who was boss on that highway), and tightening the alternator belt (a good reason to take a nap while the engine cooled enough to reach in there). I had to keep it under 60 mph during the heat of the day to keep the engine from overheating, but had no trouble once the sun went down. It hasn't been a problem since we got home either. I am sorry that we didn't make it to Hershey, but I was really tired and dirty after that trip and it took a few days to re-coop. Thanks for all of the help and advice given. I'm glad that I didn't need to use any of it. If anyone knows where I can get a driver's side cable for the parking brake. . .let me know, that's the only thing we need for inspection. Thanks. Liz~
