It's a B turbo from a 1980 900. I tried rigging the intake up to run n/a to see what would happen, bypassing the turbo. The stutter was still there. (You could really hear the turbo wind up though. Cool! :) )
I am going to try replacing the coil. I found in the manual that voltage between terminal 15 and ground should be 6-8 V. I measured just under 6 (cold) and there is a slight amount of continuity between term 15 and the outside of the coil. I had previously tried 3 different used coils and none made a difference. When I checked voltage, they all measure just under 6 V between 15 & grd (cold. I didn't check any of them after running engine). Coils can be bad when warm right? Should I go with a stock Bosch coil or something different? TKS
