I was given an '84 3dr turbo recently. Now, the only reason I made room for the car was to put the rims on my '76 4dr, but I would like to use as much of the "donor" as possible(seats, brakes, etc.)I was told it runs great, but the body is rather punky around the rocker panels and underneath which is why it's being sacrificed to the '76. I would greatly appreciate any advice as to what I can use from the '84.The '76 has a tranny from an '87 turbo that I was told had been modified to mate up to the original-type injected engine.I would like to drop the turbo engine in instead (along with it's unmodified tranny). Will it fit? Is this against the SAAB code of ethics? Should I just post a classified ad for the '84? I do have the rescources to do some modifications and I have great mechanical ability once I see what I'm working with, so I don't mind doing things a bit out of the ordinary as long as it's seviceable later on and is worth the effort,of course. Thank you in advance.
