9000 engine in a 99?

Hi. I have been following the posts on putting a 900 16V into a 99. I just picked up my first 9000 (with a bad tranny). Twentieth Saab, but first 9000. I am intrigued by the serpentine belt setup, particularly in a 99. Has anyone tried this? I know that the 9000 intake won't fit under the hood, the waterpump appears to be on the exhaust side (having swapped places with the steering pump) and would probably interfere with the pass. side engine mount, and the ex manifold & turbo, if used, would possibly interfere with the tranny and/or drive axles. BUT OTHER THAN THAT..... Any experience out there with using 9000 engines in a 99 (or 900)?
