Actually, you could quite easily just keep the CIS fuel system and go with a 16valve in your 99 as well. You will need to procure some Mercedes CIS injectors but John Wirt has been mulling this over for a while and I think has most of the oddities sorted out. The downpipe is always the difficult thing as the head is wider leaving you less room to make the exhaust go where it needs to go in a 99. I Used a 9000 Turbo manifold once with a custom pipe from there down. Nothing was tuned but the car had plenty of zip. I have pics somewhere if you are interested. If you want to eliminate the CIS then you'll have to get the whole LH system but that isn't all that bad either. There are ways to do it that don't desecrate the whole 99 thing. (some will disagree, of course). I guess what I mean is that there are better ways than others to clean up the installation. If you're in the mood for details email me.
