Gery, Here's where you need to take things slow. First off, Sanding those contacts is a no no. Clean Them with electrical contact cleaner (best) carb cleaner or brake cleaner. It is impossible for anybody to diagnose certain things via this board, but most can be avoided by following advise, and giving as much detail about your problem and what you have done or measured. I feel you pain, because I learned D-jet through trial and error before this board had any Djetters. We've made all these mistakes as well. The D-jet components are basically bullet proof, so forget about your need for parts. I dought you need a single one short of perhaps a fuel filter and now possibly some trigger points. Once you get it running and understand it, it is very easy to "shotgun" and jump to a fix. For now, start with this... Get some contact cleaner and contact grease. Go to manual page 243-9 of your orange manual. It is labled 1.4 electric controls. Clean all those connectors, grease, and re-connect. Do the same with your relays and the fuses in the fusebox. Don't mess with the Computer harness connector at this point.Your fuel pump connector should be fine as well. Go to your computer, and spin your adjustment Knob both ways. Reach the middle point as best as possible. At the bottom of the page there is starter terminal wire#18. Here's any easy Shotgun fix...That wire is usually green It runs down to the starter over the bell housing cover. It always corrodes over time. Pick an easy point to work at prior to the wire getting to the bell housing and cut it. Splice in fresh wiring from there to your starter. Re-use the wire protective sleeve, or get new. It needs to be protected. This line is your D-jet power source. This could actually be your problem. If not, It will be down the road. When You've done that, give an update. Best of luck
