I had the headers ceramic coated, mostly to help keep the heat down. Their web site made lots of claims, but I do not feel that it has helped as much as they claimed. The stock B motor had the starter behind the headers and the wiring was getting fried. I did not notice that the H motor had the starter on the intake side, much easier to service. I think that the first H motors may have had the starter on the same side of the B motors. Mine is a 1985 motor.
