Doug, I notice a lot of filler in your door area? Is it not true that this filler shrinks over time creating an oatmeal look of an otherwise straight panel?
With my 96, I was thinking of using lead and hammer and dolly. Especially for the 96 as the door's shape is odd and bodywork must be near excellent in order for the beauty to truly emerge.
I've seen beautiful paint jobs on cars, yet that warp/rippling of the bondo kills it. I'm one of those guys who really looks at a body of a car....for imperfections. What do you think?
You did a beautiful job of repairing that 73. Were you experienced in this type of work?
Lastly, buffing....what buffer was used? Is buffing different than the orbital units out there such as the Porter cable's?
Thanks
