i was adjusting the clutch nut to tighten some slipage but i turned it the wrong way (in instead of out). otherwise the car ran super. the car was not in motion when i did the adjustment. the pedal went all the way to the floor and pretty much stayed there with the engine running free (some rotational clicking noise from the tranny). so i removed the clutch slave to re-engage the pressure plate but no movement and same problem. the slave push rod is all the in the bell housing and while i took off the inspection plate, i haven't stuck my head down. the freewheel is an unknown but i've had those blow on me before and this doesn't feel like that. i've just never had a throwout bearing not return... i've heard this is possible. i would absolutely find out by pulling the engine but do i really have to? thanks roger
