I don't know a specific answer to your question, but would happily look it up if it mattered, but it doesn't. FWIW I think the 1.7L engine has slightly lower compression than the 1.5L, but they are rated at the same HP. My answer is that as long as you have 120PSI or better on all cylinders, you have good compression. I encourage you to do the test about four times and chart your results, I think that sometimes you will find one cylinder higher and sometimes another. You may find that on average after several tests, there is a clear ranking of cylinders, that is to be expected on an older engine.
After the above, try it again with a different compression tester, and don't be surprised if the results shift 10PSI up or down. Oh yeah, be sure to perform the test under similar conditions with the two testers, eg engine cold or warm, all plugs out or not, throttle held open or not.
Overall I think compression is not your problem and you need to look elsewhere.
Hesitation problems (could you be more specific?) are more likely related to fuel delivery and ignition system deficits than to compression issues. How is your accelerator pump?
