Carl: Yes it can be discouraging at times, but don't give up, just grit your teeth and think of the satisfaction you'll have when you get it running right! In your first post you said the tranny was working O.K. before you replaced the rear tranny mount. In your second post you say the tranny mount was torn up requiring a replacement. When did the bucking etc.
start: before or after you replaced the tranny mount? When you replaced the tranny mount did you leave the tranny in the car? How did you get it out of the mount, just pull it forward enough to clear the mount, or did it just come off the tranny as it sat? It's been awhile since I replaced one, on my storker, there was just one bolt went through the end of the mount into the tranny "snout", but there may have been 3 bolts that hold the mount to the frame, in fact my manual shows 3 bolts. Did you replace those, or maybe they were gone and caused the mount to disintegrate?
I'm beginning to thing something is not right at the rear mount. Where all the trouble started in the first place. Let me know!
