Pertronix Ignition Dead - Again

I have a Pertronix ignition in my '67 96 two stroke with a generator. I replaced the Pertronix last month after it suddenly died and I had no spark. Yesterday, the same thing happened again. I do not read any abnormalities in voltage or power spikes from the charging system. It is a newer battery. Does anyone have a suggestion on what I should examine? My AAA membership is certainly paying for itself this year. Thanks in advance.
