Thanks for you response. I just asked because I read about people changing to electric and I wanted to know why. I believe that the supply of parts and avalibility part. I believe quicker start up part, but what is a couple more cranks worth. I believe the cooling part, but how much heat does a little piston make. Maybe if you have a cooling problem. I'm not a mechanic but doesn't the speed of the engine determine the amount of fuel it uses. so it is no on the fuel flow for higher hp motors. I think you are just waisting fuel. I have a Jack Lawrence custom intake with a two barrel webber. Which make about 10 to 15 more hp than stock and my mechanical fuel pump works fine. Any thoughts thanks chris
