I am still a relatively new V-4 owner. I haven’t yet gotten my 96 to the point where it feels reliable enough to drive out if my town. This weekend I readjusted the Weber carb to avoid some stalling issues. I drove it to work today with no problems. I went out for a drive at lunch and I noticed the temperature was increasing close to red. The next thing I knew a warning light came on the temperature gauge returned to the ice cold position and the engine died. I was able to get it restarted to get out of traffic and into a parking lot. I waited 30 minutes didn’t see any leaking fluid, I started it up again but did not drive it since the warning light came back on. I am attaching a picture of the warning light - is my alternator dead? I don’t have an owners manual for this car so I am guessing. I look forward to your help on this issue. Thanks
