Re: Clutch Master Cylinder fluid Posted by josephcowley [Email] In Reply to: Re: Clutch Master Cylinder fluid, eric in vermont |
I've been busy with all my Saabs as well. Not on the cold days, although if I had the space and heat I would have enjoyed the time well spent in my garage. I try to resist the temptation to look at the auction sites, but often succumb. It's too fun!
Getting ready to replace the transmission in my '72 96 (I was lucky to find a Ashcroft rebuilt one still in it's box on eBay). The '68 you sold to me still runs good, and I do have fun driving it from time to time.
My preference still resides with my two running '94 900's. Love to work on them, and they are fun to drive in their own right. Now searching for a way to rebuild the turbo on my 900T, which I suspect it's malfunctioning. Strangely enough, the my favorite is the 900s. Put a new top on it, took care of the rust, replaced the PS pump & hoses, took care of the shorts in the wiring of the tail lights. Now that it's getting warmer outside, I'm excited to install a new shifter purchased through MCS and replace the headlights' glass after upgrading the bulbs. I pulled the gas tank from my 'junk' 900 with the intention of installing in the 900s over the coming days, as there is a leak I need to take care of.
Cheers!
Joe
