I see the point. I drive through some pretty steep hills in the White Mountains. I have to shift down to 2nd and loose power doing so. All that is left is first...and that is VERY slow. Not only is it slow, but makes the MOM'S whine.

Logically thinking, I would like to have another gear to slip into.
I did know about the shifting and steering column.
