Here goes.....New radiator, rebuilt engine & brand new water pump, new thermostat, new hoses, THE LOT ! The thermostat I first had in was an 87 degree. It overheated but only after 60mph, so swapped for an 83 degree. Now, the gauge creeps up to just above normal, then all of a sudden shoots back down to normal, then starts to creep up, then shoots back down etc etc. Air lock I hear you say but it has been bled so many times I refuse to believe it. Anybody any ideas?
