Yes a double post, but I found my name tag this time :-)
Two door sedans are tops mate!
That is why I bought a two door 900 sedan, although I was disappointed to see that the 900 does not actually have a metal pacel shelf, unlike the 99.
As for a more objective observation....my 72 99 sedan appeared to have much sharper in handling than the 5 door 99T, not a very good comparison, but better than none. The improved handling may also have been a result of less overall weight, and less weight over the rear.
Surely the fixed back window, and steel parcel shelf must make the two door chassis stiffer.
Anyway, we all know that two door 99 sedans look far better than the hatch......
