Ed,
thanks for info. I bought the pump from Northern Power Products (800) 284-6247 for $50. I also have an electric pump that I got from West of Sweden. (my backup) the pump is an Airtex, and pumps the right psi, so you don't need a pressure reg. I decided to go with the mechanical for now because it is less work to install. The electric was a little more money, and supposed to be better.
I have been stockpiling new parts for the motor and drivetrain from ebay. I feel more comfortable with reserves of everything. I actually want to put all new stuff on the engine for reliability since I bought the car last summer and don't know when things where replaced. I only have 59,000 miles on it, spent all of its time in a garage in the desert SW, so most things haven't been used that much, or rusted, but the have sat for a while.
Thank you again for your info, and hope this info helped. Northern Power specialized in Ford European parts, so you should find what you need, although, they where out of water pumps, and expecting an order in soon.
Randy
