Greetings Bay Area SAAB club members,

Our first club gathering will be Saturday June 25, 2005 at B&B SAAB, 2983 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95051. Our host for this event will be B&B's parts manager Shawn Pierson. This will be a parts swap meet-gathering with a club sponsored barbecue. If you have any parts to sell, trade, or give away bring them. It does not matter what vintage SAAB you have. I have a ton of c900 parts that I will be selling cheap and some I will be giving away FREE!! Yes FREE!! If you don't have parts to sell or swap please come anyways.

We need a number of volunteers to make this event happen. We need several people who can bring Weber type barbecues and possibly man them. We need several people with ice chests and ice so we can keep all the drinks cold. It will be very warm in Santa Clara in June and I know we would all appreciate a cold soda or bottle of H2O. The club will provide all the hamburgers/hot dogs, drinks, trimmings, and charcoal for the barbecues etc. Please e-mail myself or Roger Wapner if you can help out.

As always we ask that you please rsvp myself (cliff-at-gene.com) or Roger Wapner (rwapner-at- earthlink.net) so that we can get an accurate count of those attending. Please do not contact B&B SAAB if you plan to attend the club event. Maps and directions to B&B SAAB can be found at http://www.bbsaab.com. Since the club web is down more details on the event will follow by e-mail to the members list and also be posted here.
