This is actually a pretty good suggestion for two events - one a "vintage" mechanical repair, tune-up and mods event, and another as an interior/exterior detailing event covering all models.
For the vintage crowd: I'm not sure how many "strokers" there are around. Seems that if there's enough interest from the 2-stroke crowd, this could be a separate event,...."a show of hands" from the "sroker" lurkers and other interested folks would be helpful. There's certainly a bunch of V4 owners in the region, and I think an 'All-V4s' event would be a certainty. A number of us have made significant modifications to our otherwise stock V4 cars,...this could be a whole evening's or afternoon's "show-and-tell" topic in itself.
Any suggestions for venues?
How about it Cliff and Roger, are these ideas of merit for club events? Doesn't seem like there's much else planned for this year.
