Well - happened - cracked (3-4CM). Sort of a good thing since the pitting was AWFUL and insurance is picking up the tab. And getting the nose, hood and sides painted too / gratis (nose needed it). I even bought the rear lip to have painted, and would install!

But...! Cannot find one with HUD, rain-sensor and lane departure. I even called Orio (cool site), but since I was retail, they were not too excited to talk to me.

I debated selling a year ago, but decided to keep it. So I did a ~90K serv (plugs too), new tires, front struts, fixed a mini-leak with new water pump and serp-belt/ten... new mats even. Now I have all of this $ put into, and no source for a windscreen. If you have over 100K, I recommend new struts - night and day diff as I drove home. Amazing really.

I guess the options are:

1. Use windscreen w/o HUD et al., but I'm not certain how the electronics will like that.
2. "Fix" crack and buff down glass - I've heard some horror stories about fish-bowl experiences.
3. Drive it as is for a while and then 5.
4. Look into used options. Is this even an option?
5. Sell as is, or with it painted.
6. Cry.

Any thoughts would be great. I'm so disappointed, because it's such a nice ride and rare (not to mention the $Ks I put into it).

I test drove the new Genesis G80, and if I closed my eyes, felt the same as my Tubro6. More tech and bling of course. Top of my list for replacement sled.

Cheers,
Steve
