I think you're taking a much bigger risk than with almost any other Saab model. There is just no support for the model and parts are expensive. An older 9-5 or 9-3 or even a 900 is going to have plenty of parts and indies to service them.
The car was a blast to drive but after the bankruptcy it became just too risky. As I said I really enjoyed all my Saabs but the company who made them no longer exists. Time to move forward.
