As you can see, almost everyone here has a different opinion. When it came time to shop for new tires (just last week) I knew I would stick to the factory tire sizing for my '97 SE as my suspension is still stock and holding strong why mess up things to save a few $. I've been often known to turn down amazing deals on aftermarket enhancement for Saab (abbott ecu for $350 cdn!!) you just can't convince me. If you're looking for ride comfort, then that's a different story (try a 9000). I do mostly highway mileage and down here the roads are pretty well maintained so MY Saab suspension feels ideal despite all ...
Sorry, this subject has been beaten here to death. Do a quick search and listen to people's experience then you'll be able to assess the risk factors involved and make an educated decision for yourself.
