I was just crawling around trying to determine the rattling, clunking I was experiencing when going over bumps. Turns out the bottom 3/4 of a turn of the passenger side coil spring is broken off and just sitting in there.

After doing some reading, it seems that Dean made a recommendation a few years back about asking if anyone who has upgraded their suspension has their stock coil springs sitting around. So, I guess I am asking. We could certainly work something out.

Along these lines, any other things I should be looking at? Yes all is original, but I am not really excited about paying out for new struts/mounts, etc. I just got home from a clutch job (and new seals all around!), and am looking to do this cheap but right. Thanks.
