I have a 96 900S Convertible that won't start 90% of the time, and sometimes dies while driving. What I've noticed is that if I turn the key to the "ON" position before cranking, the dash lights will either fully illuminate (ie, all the lights come on), and the car starts fine. Other times, when the key is in the on position, I'll only see a dimly lit SRS light, and the car will crank, but never fully turn over, or if it does, dies almost immediately. Also, sometimes while driving, the dash electronics will suddenly die, and a few seconds later, the car dies (DANGER Will Robinson!).

This car recently had a 95,000 tuneup, and I hadn't had the problems prior. Not sure if thats coincidental, but thought I'd mention it.

At first, after reading the posts here, I thought fuel pump, but then noticing the dash lights part of this..I'm thinking some kind of short or switch?

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!!
