Trany will be fine. Some tranies have problems, but they do not seem to be clustered at all with power mods.
What ECU mod? Stage [I|II|III]?
The Viggen IC will help a lot. You need to rework the TBTC and do the 3" airbox mod + K&N 33-2663 filter, or something else as effective.
A Saab Sports exhaust should also be included in the mix (Stage III).
A SMBC will improve turbo response, something different from increasing boost and power.
With more boost, permium fuel is not an option, and keeping plugs and injectors in good condtion is also important. Gap plugs to .035" or .037". It is recommended to go to BCPR7ES11s with higher boost. So try that and if you have problems with them getting too dark or fouled, go back to 6ES plugs. Check plugs after a significant amount of driving, not a short trip and back, as all plugs darken with cold starts and short trips and burn off to some extend during longer trips.
To install the Viggen IC, you have to replace the lower rad hose. So you might as well do a cooling system flush at that time if not done recently. Good time to slip in a new thermostat too. OEM gear clamps for hoses do not work well on used hoses that have been removed for cooling system work. The small hoses have the most trouble. Use smallest gear type clamps from the hardware store and put a pad of folded over duct tape between clamp and hose to prevent rubber from cutting and extruding through the gear clamp slots.
You probably need to cut 1/2" or more off the compressor discharge hose to clear or reduce an interference with an AC pipe. Thats in prior posts if you have not seen already. Its tough to install in any case. A soap solution might help. Do not use oil or silicone grease as the main mechanism to prevent these hoses from blowing off is friction. When you cut the discharge hose, there will be a clamp band retaining feature in the rubber that will be cut away as well.
