Your car might have several issue at hand>>>>>>> Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Tue, 24 Aug 2004 21:43:57 In Reply to: My SAAB story........(V6 Woes)HELLLPPPPP!!!!!!, Joe [Profile/Gallery] , Tue, 24 Aug 2004 10:20:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The early NG900 had several A/C items that could go bad and Saab came out with a service bulletin that adviced to replace three parts at the same time if the A/C was not working properly.
Those three are the expansion valve, anti freeze switch and the over heating cut out switch on top of A/C compressor.
The A/C system is also dependant on that the engine cooling system is working properly, so if you don't have a working temp gauge it might be that the ICE unit refuses to give a go ahead signal to start the A/C compressor?
At this time I think you need to rely on a Saab shop with the knowledge and proper wiring diagrams to be able to sort it out instead of Jiffy lube.
Many times that could be cheaper in the long run since they might find and reapir the problem a lot faster than a cheaper shop without the knowledge and manuals.
