Hello again all,

Thanks for the response on my posting on the "mechanic's special" 96 turbo of the other day.

More detail: seller says the car needs a clutch (surprise, surprise), that he tried replacing the cable six months ago to no avail. Not being familiar with NG900s, but experienced with clutch jobs in 9000s, anyone got an opinion on how feasible this is as a DIY project? 9000s are a pain, but I'd always prefer to do the job myself, if that gives you some idea of my skills.

Also, I seem to remember comments about the suspensions in NG900s being a little flakey? Would that apply to a 96 model year?

How about the oil sludge dilemma?

The above are the things I'm planning to look at going in. Price for the car's about $2500 as is (haven't seen it yet). Any other suggestions for things to look into?
