Update on front Koni install today...

I'll keep the details short and ask that you take a look at the pictures on my site, as to what I am missing here.
Basically, I am stuck on the driver's side strut removal. I finally got the right/passenger side done, just waiting on eEuroparts via FedEx to deliver the ball joint boots to complete that side's install, as I ripped both (already pre-emptive ordered, should have been here today) upon ball joint-pickle fork removal.
How do I get enough slack to manuever the strut out of the wheel well? It took all my might getting it out of the top mounting point, and I have no idea how I will get it back in once I reinstall. The driveshaft (?/spline?) just does not have as much play as the other side.
I'm giving up for the night and will have to hitch a ride to work tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for taking the time.
