Yowzas! Its been a busy week (between rain, work, and school) for me and finally had a chance to get some voltage readings. Batter voltage while car shut off: 12.24 volts (sounds low to me), car running, no load: 14.55 volts, and car running, with all effected items on: 12.06 down to 11.85 volts on battery!!!! That doesn't look good either, no wonder this stuff shuts down, its not getting enough power to it....or is it? So what does everyone think now? Battery is less than 6 months old, alternator and regulator I don't have any records for, but do know that the engine in the car has about 105k on it (despite body with 122k). How would I go about testing the alternator or regulator, or have I already done this with the check I did?
