Still dead... no OBD II codes to read out (??) Picked up an Innova 3100 OBDII reader today, and although it links fine and updates the display every 15 seconds like it is supposed to, it reads no codes from the car.
Spark plugs are a couple weeks old. Car had two inspections recently, one by a qualified Saab mechanic, and had the codes read out before replacing a front O2 sensor, no CEL after that until yesterday. The car is not in an ideal spot (friends driveway), to remove plugs, fuel lines, or test fuel pump. (I did try rapping the gas tank just to be sure). No known current issues except a small coolant leak somewhere.
I suspect the DI casette based on what I have read here and heard from my mechanic about the NG900, 100k and you are on borrowed time. The other reason why I suspect the DI and not the fuel pump is that the car went from running fine, with no misfire or symptoms of not getting enough fuel, to a dead ignition, and not being able to start despite turning over fine.
Could still be anything in the fuel system as far as I know, failed FPR, fuel filter, pump, broken wire...
