the middle idler pulley is nearly impossible to replace due to its location. The upper one can be removed and replaced very easily. Both seem to have the same problem: they simply wear out. Give it a spin when your belt is off or just have the tension off it. If it spins really easy like it is "dry", that is a problem. Very easy to change. There is a picture guided site somewhere around here that is very helpful. Michael in MTL? is that right?
