It is an odd design in that the bearing inner race is solid chunk with a small hole instead of the inner race having a large hole. So that reduces the field. The idler pully also tends to hit the tensioner as the tensioner is released, which has some implication for a larger idler pully. Then after you might find one that fits, the required belt length might not be available. So great if it can be done...
Again, the fundamental problem is the loss of grease caused in a bearing with a spinning outer race at high speed, which makes the grease leak out of the seals interface to the outer race. So it is a misapplication of a bearing to some degree. That is why some of us have attempted to seal that interface with glue or an other sealant.
