causes this problem. You need to find out what caused the driveshaft to twist in the first place. Mine did the same thing, the top fabric behind each rear quarter glass would hang up on "ears" of the frame when the rear glass would be in the fully up position, then the tonneau would snag the fabric on the way up. The good news is you dont have to replace the tonneau drive motor. Also, you can replace the shaft in the car with out completely removing the motor. I'm not sure the cost of the shaft, but it's available seperate from the motor.
