I thought only the auto transmission plug was 24mm (well, and the recessed <!> alternator pulley nut)
Thanks for the info guys... I don't think I am going to make my own tools to drain transmission fluid, don't think I am up for that. I was hoping to make do with extensions and bit holders (sigh). Up to now I thought the car was easy to work on with simple tools.
It confused me when I noticed two hard lines and a hose crossing right over the fill plug, but then Saab states the oil is good for the life of the transmission. Of course, they do not say how long that will be if you never change it... <LOL> I will read over some of the older posts before I try this.
