Door locks and alarm going nuts! Twilight zone!

I posted a while back about my new 95 900s, asking if it had an alarm. We'll it sure does!
For a little while I've noticed the door locks clicked a little when I opened the drivers door, like they are trying to lock. So today I decided to twist the wire connection in the door hinge to see if it was loose. My led light started blinking (I have no remote) and the alarm armed itself. I put the key in the ignition and tried to start the car and the alarm goes off.
I pulled the fuse on the alarm, but now it's locking the doors on it's own. You put the key in and start the car - doors unlock. Turn off the car - doors lock you in.
I did have the drivers side door outside handle off a few months ago, and I do remember there being a switch on it, but I'm almost certain I got it back in the was it was to begin with.
Any ideas from the SAAB gurus?
