No, they have actually always done a good job with my car. They fixed things that I didn't know needed to be fixed. There is a dealer in Birmingham AL and they don't know much. I took my car to them for the 20000 mile service and told them that I didn't think it was boosting right. They said that it was normal and that the boost should not go past the middle of the yellow. I called them back a week later to tell them that I found out from this board that the first thing to check is the BPC valve. My valve had never been hooked up. I had my clutch blow up near Mobile Al and Saab USA had it toed to the local dealer. When I drove 5 hours to pick it up, it blew up again after 10 miles. They got it right the second time. The last dealer was in Albuquerque NM, and they were fine for an oil change. The head tech at Gossett is supposed to be really good at what he does.
I still love my 99 9-3 though. I just had to find the right service Dept. When I buy a new 9-3 after the body change, who do you think will get my business?
