Saabs have both cornering lights and front mounted backup lights

They are both wonderful features. The 9'5 does not have the cornering lights, but the 1999 & 2000' 9'3 does. I believe that they may have deleted the turn signal cornering light feature on the 2001 9'3. The reason they did so is that the cornering light bulb is in the same bulb cluster as the driving lights and it made it appear that one driving light was one, while the other one wasn't leading to unnecessary dealer repair visits from consumers.

Saab would be well served if it could find a way to compel it's owners to read their owner's manuals.
