"Time for Service" warning

This message pops up on my SID every time I start the car now. (I can press clear to get rid of it, but it comes up the next time I start the car). The manual says to hold clear for 8 secs until it dings. Tried it, and it still comes back.
Not sure if it's a coincidence, but I ran it very hard this weekend. My buddy is a cop and wanted to put it through its paces. I couldn't resist knowing that there was no danger of getting a ticket. We got the revs up near redline and put it through some tough corners.
Anyway, do I need to take it to the dealer, or is there a way for me to get rid of the warning?
